I suppose the league is prority but our club have a special relationship with the cup like the 6-1 away so at Carlisle, the 3-1 against Doncaster, the Graham Oates goal against Halifax int snow, the run to the quarter final and of course the semi-finals and final. That’s why losing hurts. Hope Gary gets that over to that lot who let us and the clubs name and reputation down so much today.

The fact that he has just been given an extended contract at the age of 33, tells me that the club doesn’t see him as just an headless chicken.
The fact that he was bustin a gut to try and cover someone else’s school boy error, endorses my opinion.
The reason he was slightly behind their player was the fact that he had just made an angle for Junior to make a 10 yard forward pass. When Junior ballsed up, Perkins was never going to get back in time. I agree pace is not his forte, but he’s been superb for us this season.

Given the budgets of us and Bury that performance was right up there with our worst in recent years. Players looked like they couldn’t care less.
Maybe they didn’t Bigroy but why would they? It’s not like a club like Latics could ever win the FA Cup is it?
Did any of this team watch the Salford City/Notts Co last night. A tean of plumbers electricians etc showed fight, guts, determination and not a little skill against a team 59 places above them (2nd goal would have been raved about if a Greedleague player had scored it!). Same old,same old – concede a throw in and we’re beaten Cowards!!!!
