Whelan is open to the idea
We could do worse, but would he fit into roberto’s “total football” style? Usually teams with him just go long ball.
He plays that role for Engerland in a 4-5-1 formation shouldn’t be a problem
I think he would be perfect, generally when the ball is played to heskey either in the air or to feet he holds it up. I think it’s good news and I would welcome him back
