Well, I was entertained by it, but that’s just my opinion.I’d be less entertained if it was kick and rush and taking pot shots at the goal, but that’s just my opinion again.
I watched the Stoke v Swansea game today and Stoke scored from a corner and long throw in.
Great for getting results but utter tosh for watching. Swansea looked like a mirror image of us, played neat tidy football but got no fire power up front.
I suppose the stoke fans went home happy with 3 points but probably thinking they had been outplayed in almost every department.

Exactly, but why all the boos from the North Stand at final whistle?
Seems to me that they were far from happy with the performance and result. Normally if a team has given its all, deserved to win but have not managed to get a result, they get a good reception at final whistle.From Matlock to ManU

I happen to know the Villa fan I was talking to, and he works for the club so he was a bit non-committal over whether he thought McLeish was doing a good job or not. What he did say though was most of the supporters expect to beat ‘teams like’ Wigan. (Had to bite my tongue as he’s a potential business connection)
Credit to Villa where it is due I thought they defended very well..
To come out of a game with a clean sheet after a ridiculous amount of corners against you deserves a pat on the back…
However I think they were hoping they would create a chance enough for the likes of Bent to show his quality and slot it away.

Dont get the hate personally, we were hardly the Harlem Globe Trotters but I think I would take a performance like that most weekends considering how well Villa defended.

I thought that the booing by the Villa fans wasn’t because they weren’t beating ” Little Wigan ” but because they were completely under the cosh for most of the second half – which makes this weeks hysterical overreaction from some on here all the more bewildering.

Concerning chances created..we had more in the last 10 than the previous 80 which is why we should start with Diame and Rod. It’s not rocket science mon.
