With hindsight I think Bob may have made a tactical faux pas the other night ! At the time I gave a possible reason for him leaving Diame and Moses out because they may be leaving us for another club, but after seeing Cahill give his all for Bolton and even score their much needed winner I now have my reservations ! He did introduce them off the bench as well and so my question is….Why the hell did he not start with these two ???? Before anyone comes back with ” Your not the manager Bob is ” and ” What do you know about team selections your just a window cleaner ” think about it !!! I believe that if those two had started we would have been at least 2 up at half time because Sunderland were very average indeed ! We need to be winning home games like that and tinkering like he did fucked it up in my opinion !

We were fine going forwards – it was at the back where the problems were.

I work with a Bolton Wanderers season ticket holder who watches them away as well. During the last couple of windows when the top teams were chasing Cahill’s signature, he said hope he goes.
An overall assessment he gave was; gives 100%, quite athletic, good in the air, but gets dragged out of position easily and has costed them loads of goals. He sounds like a taller, thinner, paler version of Titus Bramble. :woohoo:

i agree when he took stam off, i think he just left us exposed at the back looked like we was gonna get hit on the brake constantly. i think diame and moses were bollocksed so he gave them a rest two bk to bk games will take it out of them no point in them gettin injured then we really will be fucked
