26 November 2013 at 2:22 pm #123819Then again promotion now looks a distant dream so maybe this is our only chance of silverware … :woohoo:[/quote]
Mr brownbill:
There are about 30 games left to play & we are only a few points of a play off place. Plenty of time yet.26 November 2013 at 3:24 pm #123825If only Holt could play for 90 minutes.
As Anuradha Desai has assured Gary Bowyer that Jordan Rhodes will be staying at Blackburn, a move for him seems unlikely.
But sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the cowboys from the Indians.
26 November 2013 at 4:08 pm #123828Jason Scotland, Connor Sammon, Amr Zaki, Mauro Boselli.
Unfortunately they all achieve the accolade with someone else.
26 November 2013 at 10:05 pm #123854.Why do we never have a 15-20 goal a season striker and please don’t give me the everyone is after the sameWhen was the last time we had one was it Ellington,Roberts and before that Graeme Jones
maybe its the way we play, look at strikers we have ruined.

He already has – he’s just changed his name to Fortune !! :P
27 November 2013 at 12:41 pm #123872I think the month of December is going to be critical to who we sign in the transfer window. I don’t think Whelan will want to pay large or any amounts of cash having watched the games we have. I think when coyle arrived, Whelan said the plan was to be in the prem for 2 years…may be this was a business plan, steady the ship 1st year, launch the offensive the following year…maybe without coyle?? (Hopefully  )
27 November 2013 at 1:10 pm #123873Its been obvious for two months we are struggling up front. Half the league seem like they are loaning strikers yet we persevere with these two has beens. Does Coyle watch the same games? We have one who’s been waiting for 1/2 a chance and Coyle sends him on loan,
Dicko , scores 1 , and makes 1 for his first match on loan at Rotherham. But then again Coyle can’t see past the end of his nose.
27 November 2013 at 2:05 pm #123874Dicko has looked p*ss poor the times I’ve seen him play

Coyle isn’t the only manager to not rate him highly enough though.

Now let’s think ?
Who originally signed Dicko and then never played him ? Don’t think OC can own up to that.Anyway, OC did bring him on from the bench ( think it was the Maribor game )only for Noah to throw a strop and his teddy out of the ark. Don’t think that will have done his reputation any good !

…and Rotherham play in Division One.
Hardly proof that he’s the answer to our goal-drought problems.

He’s hardly played for Wigan because he’s been out on loan three times.
Rather than sitting on the bench or playing in the reserves, he’s getting first team experience and playing competitive games.
Multiple loans haven’t exacly hindered the likes of Lee Nicholls, Joe Hart, Aaron Ramsey or Andros Townsend.
