Makes his mark with 2 assists and m.o.m.performance against Wolves. …How longs his loan ???
2 October 2014 at 10:04 am #133836Well done Grant. Must hhave kept himself fit whilst being snubbed by Swappenchange. Watch him do what he has done everywhere he has been…Score goals.
2 October 2014 at 12:16 pm #133838Still lets stick with a powder puff Frenchmon and an over rated Spaniard who have made as little impact as Holt in his first couple of months. To invest 7 million in Holt, give him 3 months under Coyle then write him off is crackers. Lets see if our current dangermen bully the Wolves defence on Saturday.

What a waste when someone of his calibre up front is so desperately needed.
2 October 2014 at 11:54 pm #133851How funny it is to read that Holt gets rave reviews for doing exactly what he did for us in two the two games he’s played for Hudds, namely score diddly squat! Then on the other hand Delort is slated for scoring the same diddly squat in his first 4 or 5 games in English football. I’ll stick my neck out and predict that Delort will score more goals than Holt this season. Some players take time to settle in their new teams and even more so in new country’s. Unless you can afford a DeCosta or a Suarez you will be lucky to get a young 22 year old player firing after just a few games.

3 October 2014 at 1:22 am #133854Hang on a moment, we are talking about Grant Holt, the bloke who used to try to jump but forgot to make his feet leave the ground??
Delort doesn’t look the best but to put him in the same bracket as Holt isn’t quite right.
Holt is over weight & an over rated player. Lets hope Huddersfield sign him when his loan spell is up.3 October 2014 at 2:57 am #133857As ineffective as our strike force is at least they look like they’ve not just made the step up from playing in the Wigan Ammy League.
As for Andy I think copious amounts of sand in the penalty box might help.

3 October 2014 at 11:59 am #133863Yes he has been playing well however bear in mind the standards Huddesfield are not exactly used to seeing top class football like we have been spoiled with over the past decade.
He didn’t hit the standard required at Latics and ok he has had a couple of decent games over there but no goals which is what a striker is supposed to get isn’t it?4 October 2014 at 6:51 am #133881Rather Waghorn get a chance as main striker. Doesn’t do too much wrong when he plays and he’s scored a few times

That one swallow doesn’t make a Summer saying is true because once I moved in with her it never happened again! ;)
