After a great performance Saturday with special mention for Josh Magennis who I thought had his best game so far next up its those heathens ….I can smell trouble a mile off and hope the police are on red alert. The knobs that they are were at it again at the weekend and no doubt will still be smarting since we rubber dicked them….Seem to think they can sneak into the playoffs…..not a hope I rekon…..then again most of em can’t spell their own names so simpleton maths certainly out the question. I hope we finish their season but feel it’ll be a tough one so I wouldn’t be disappointed to draw. Shame as now I have to decide whether to take my 2 grandchildren….who are both desperate to go…….
Magennis played OK, he didn’t set the world alight but the main thing is he scored so can’t knock him but so did Humphrys who again put in a 100% effort and also scored.
So when Langs back who gets the nod ?
No disrespect to the other forwards but Callum has been arguably our best player this season and should and will return in my opinion.
His crossing ability alone reminds me very much of the Scotland international John Robertson who played his best football at Nottingham Forest in the late seventies and early eighties.
A contender for player of the season , a tough one to select this year !
