The rat shit list is 50 times longer than the stardom list !
It will be longer because, like at most clubs, more players are released than sold to a better club for money.
I find it puzzling that any Championship side with ambition to finish anywhere above 4th bottom would be remotely interested in an aging striker with no pedigree at this level, and can only imagine that the wage he would be on in L1 is such that he’s happy to warm his arse on any championship bench for more money.
Look it’s a good thing he’s gone, he’s had his time with us and tbh I think we had him at his best aged 27 to 30.
He made more appearances for us in his 3 year stay than he did in the previous 9 years before coming to Wigan.As much as he was good for us we were good for him. He’d only scored 11 goals in 9 years previous before coming to Wigan.
He’s probably looked at the situation at Wigan with our new owner and thought, I’m not gonna as much a chance with new faces and youth coming through and Preston have a forward issue loans gone back and injury’s.
