Turned on Jimmy Bullard yesterday after his penalty miss. Booed him every time he got the ball and I dont think he came out for 2nd half !!
26 April 2010 at 12:15 am #30713Maybe they read into the conspiracy theory that a lifelong West Ham fan missed a penalty that kept them in the top flight.
Wonder how much Dame Trevor paid him
26 April 2010 at 12:16 am #30715Isn’t that what some of our fans did to Scharner? he went off and didn’t come back on, but he went straight home! :?
26 April 2010 at 12:20 am #30718Anonymous If that is true – an absolute disgrace for a player who has given his all
I think they are maybe looking at the wages he is on and thinking he is one of the players duffen offered silly money to
£40k per week on a 3 or 4 year deal
Hull are in a mess

He’s a much better player than I thought then if his deliberate penalty miss involved him slamming it against the post…!

I think it’s a lot harder to hit a post than to score a penalty.
If he was going to deliberately miss he’d have skied it.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not sticking up for Scharner, I think he has a big ego. For the last few years he has said he is leaving, problem seems to be nobody wants him!
I just don’t agree with booing either players or team, I think there would be a bigger impact if everyone remained silent when they go off after a bad performance.26 April 2010 at 12:32 am #30728Cant have been as bad as this fiasco !!!
