Eni Aluko got her ten minutes and £60K, world and sports gone mad, that Clarke doesn’t do himself any favours when he opens his mouth though.

Away a lot, but always watching

So its ok to racially abuse her coz she,s a woman and a footballer then its ok for the FA to offer her severance pay if she keeps stum. Well done lass for showing just how outdated the farts who run the game are.

I have my suspicions about this but I’ll probably be branded racist just for voicing them. How was she racially abused? Did anybody witness it? Aluko seems to be adding bits to her story as she goes along and she’s certainly making the most of her time in the limelight. Isms of all kinds scare people to death because they are afraid of being seen as un PC. I think it’s very telling that they couldn’t pin a racism charge onto Sampson but because his name had been associated with it they were determined to get him for something no matter how tenuous.

I cannot believe some of you are actually questioning what she has done. Two players were racially abused not just Aluko then the FA tried to silence her with the offer of money if she kept quiet. That is bribery. All of this is part of the cover up that tried to deflect from the Samson debacle which was an embarrassment the FA wanted rid of. The PFA backed her to the hilt and it is through her persistence and courage we will now finally see reform at the FA. Long overdue well done girl.

With you on this Nuneaton, I was avoiding posting on this topic but think I should. Discrimination isn’t banter or just a bit of fun, it affects people in many ways, whatever the discrimination. She has stood up for herself and in doing so highlighted so many issues. I say well done to her and she should be proud of herself. We as supporters should also be proud of someone highlighting issues that blight the game and wider society.

I agree that any form of racism in any walk of life needs stamping out, and fair play to her for standing up for herself against the authorities.

What I can’t agree with though is the column inches taken up by Womens football these days, as if anyone actually gives a f**k about it.
It is shite and totally irrelevant and should be given the column inches it deserves akin to those given to skittleball, shinty or netball.
If you have you ever watched it, it is very hard to take seriously as it is bordering on farcical to watch, but the coverage it gets is blown up out of proportion.
Everyone has slagged off the FA for undermining the Checkatrade Trophy by allowing under 21 teams in, but it has still been far more entertaining than watching any of the Womens football matches. Okay, let them have a kickabout with their mates, but don’t try to make it out as something it isn’t, it is as far removed from proper football as is possible.
I will probably get railroaded from the usual suspects on here for daring to voice my opinion on this bilge, but so be it, it needs saying,

She hasn’t yet got what she wants:

                      1. Sampson sacked – check. Eventually after 3 investigations, they turned something up to get rid of him.

                      2. Compo. Check.

                      3. The total support of her former team mates. No check.

It could be said that 1 & 2 would always come eventually if she shouted long enough. Sampson would become a scapegoat and the rich FA could afford a pay-off. However the fact that her former team mates have not yet changed their stance suggests that there is more to Aluko than meets the eye.

As much as I deplore racism, I’m now starting to hope some journo turns up something on this woman and see how publicity-seeking she is then. Probably about as much as Max Clifford was when the tables were turned.

                        Get used to it.
It’s all part of the Beeb’s cringeworthy feminist agenda.
Give it a couple of years when they’ve lost the Prem saturday highlights to another channel thats all that will be on offer on MOTD.
                        Just my opinion of course.

I give something about it, i really enjoyed the women’s tournament this summer, found it really entertaining and don’t see how anyone can have a problem with the women’s game. You dont have to watch it, read about it or anything.
