So it appears that every story has two sides. Yesterday it was revealed that Joey Barton had been attacked and two 21 year old’s were arrested in relation to the incident and the QPR midfielder had stated he had no intention of pressing charges.
Now however it appears things have progressed and following the arrest of Barton’s attackers the QPR midfielder has now been arrested and bailed in relation to the alleged assault.
Joey Barton had taken to Twitter to state that he had been ‘sucker punched’ but could there be more to this incident than first meets the eye? Is there a chance that the 29 year old had been the aggressor in the incident at the Liverpool nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning
