Outside Wigan NW yesterday afternoon were a couple of lads wearing their scarves and jester hats having a smoke. I got into a short conversation with them and it turned out that they were over from Iceland to see the semi-final.
Reminds me of being in Trondheim (Norway) one pre-xmas (december 06) weekend and wigan were playing liverpool (we lost 4 nil). went to a pub to watch it live and the place was full of Norewgians in liverpool tops except for 2 in latics tops.

We had 2 Vitess Arnhem lads sat next to us,started chatting to them when they started cheering for no reason, turned out they’d just found out their mob had won and gone 2nd in the Dutch league.
Top lads over to watch us, said Wigan fans are amazing and they thought we might be scared of Millwall but all the Wigan supporters they’d spoke to kept saying “Millwall fck em”Well impressed when I gave one of them my pin badge. Hopefully we’ll meet em next year if the cup draw is kind.
Latics in Europe – I will die a happy happy man :lol:
