Will Dave still say he is one of the best managers in the world and he will still manage Barcelona or Real Madrid     :silly: :silly:
And will the fans still say he has made progress.
The way i see it. This is HIS team that HE has built and has got them playing bloody awful football no matter how pretty he says it is. Progress cannot have been made and if we go down those long term achievements he parps on about will all be undone as the team will have to be sold and he will have to start again. Paul Jewell must be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of facing us next season.
Please Dave act now before it is too late. Sack the worst manager in our history and give us a chance. If he doesn’t act soon i am going to do a banner telling him to sack Martinez, Drape it over the east stand hoardings so they all see it then promptly leave. Enough is enough.
“Sack the worst manager in our history and give us a chance.”
i think thats a bit harsh yosser. i can think of worse managers (mr swain for instance). though i will state i am not turning to the darkside, i am now of the opinion that bobby (as nice as he is, club legend & all that) is not up to the job & “probably” will take us down.
just a thought that has just come to me, maybe the plan is to go down, so we can reduce the wage bill even further – keep hold of the youngsters we have & develop a good team in the championship & basically start again with a good young team!!!!!! its a thought, thats all.
only problem, all our better young players will leave, moses, james mac, along with , hugo, alcarez, diame, and we wont win many games playing the way we do in the championship
Can’t see there being a huge amount of premier league clubs queueing up to buy that lot if we do go down
It is all a bit of a vicious circle. The players won’t have much resale value or interest in them if they continue playing this way, particularly the attacking players, with the possible exception of Moses. If, on the other hand, they did up their performances, we might just survive. I wonder whether Jack would prefer another year in the top league or relegation and recouping some money from player sales as well as reducing wages even more?
