…And hopefully some of the pathetic whinging JCL’s on here will have disapeared. In particular I hope never to cross the likes of Mighty_Aff (BY FAR THE BIGGEST TOSSER I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS) again.
If we go down (and that doesn’t bother me) then at least the whinging know-nothing ex-Liverpool/utd fans will have disapeared and we can get back the fun and community spirit of real latics fans.
Martinez….. support him and the team or just get lost.

totally agree with you hindley. the one positive about going down is that we will see who the REAL fans are.
Being honest I dont think many people will stop going. I bet all the moaning people on here still go and the crownds don’t drop that much.

If the JCL’s you’re moaning about dropped off the crowds would be struggling to break 5k. Short memories some on here.

i have been watching latics for all my life over 30 years and i moan about martinez and other things some times, does that mean i am not a real supporter? :roll: just because people have differing opinions from yourself doesnt mean you are a better fan than them

If you’re unconcerned about the future of our football club, may be you should follow Chester.ticslad, everyone was over the moon when we got promoted, & to be honest i don’t want us to get relegated. but the point of this discussion is that if we do go down, i think we will see who the real fans are from next season.

You mean those who should be happy with Martinez?
I was there when we were relegated from division 3, but I never felt as unmotivated at going as I do with Martinez working his magic.
Rather than worrying about relegation affecting attendance, I would be more concerned about Martinez affecting attendance.
If we stay up but he stays in charge, I would risk a bet our attendances fall.
If we go down he stays in charge
