Theme from the film slap shotI believe in plenty of things, unicorns, dragons, mermaids, bigfoot, etc etc but I can’t believe that we won’t be starting off in League 1 in August. I really do wish i am wrong, and will be truly delighted to have egg on my face, but I don’t believe any more :( :( :(
It about time we got rid of this as no one believes any moreI think that most of us still believe in the club and the chairman if not in the current bunch of players. One thing I have learned in over 40 yrs following the Latics is that you never underestimate or write the club off and always expect the unexpected. It looks like 2 maybe 3 new faces will be in soon so who knows?. Once the bigger earners and those basking in FA Cup glory have left then maybe the squad will become a closer knit unit. I think we will probably go down but I would never bet on it coz this club has never ceased to amaze.
