28 September 2012 at 12:25 am #93982place in grand final between top 2 in the attendance table (albeit a pointless one inc teams that get 1k,2k 6k on). Anything less than 19k is a joke. I heard they’ve already used the “flooding @ saddle” excuse already.
Why can’t they just admit that, like 95% of the uk population, no one is interested or cares
sirdave, remind me how many showed up for the only major football semi final to ever be played at the DW?
28 September 2012 at 12:41 am #93985And the dick measuring contest continues in ernest…………ernest isn’t to happy about it, but on we go.
Landing another pointless blow, it’s lord of the pies, and SirDave is on the ropes, the best thing he can do now is mention how many were on at the play off game the other week, but will he have a surprise tactic? Maybe he’ll duck the question and go straight for the knockout, and tell the lord that rugby league will sink faster than Danny Campbell in quicksand. Who knows what will happen in this bout?!
Well we all know don’t we, both sides will slag each others teams attendances off, in a ridiculously immature show of dickheadedness, and everyone else will roll their eyes in pity for the poor blighters that just can’t understand that it’s possible to have 2 top teams from 2 different sports in our backward northern town.
I’m going watching a slug in the back garden, let me know if anything exciting happens.

28 September 2012 at 2:49 am #93997I hold no hatred towards Wigan Warriors as I wasn’t around back then but I do know that the sport of Rugby League is dying on its arse. I predict it will be a semi-professional sport within 15 years which is not a long time in sport !

I’ll give you a link to help you find the answer:

I’m waiting with baited breath to see how many home fans turn out for the Capital One Cup game next month. No doubt there’ll be 4000 away fans to boost the figure so you’ll be crowing what a fantastic crowd turned up. My bet is that less Wiganers will turn out for this than did for a meaningless runaround against Catalan.
8000 home fans for this one please Sir Dave!!!
28 September 2012 at 3:30 am #94017Ah – but we all had a tenner double that there would be less than 13,000 on and the floodlights would fail.
A nice Malaysian man gave us the tip. People kept away just to make sure ;)

About right I’d say. 4500ish home fans and a decent Bradford following hoping for an upset.

the swansea game (same cup comp) 2 seasons ago was just shy of 12k. Bradford seem to think they’ll bring more than what swansea did????? doubt it but fair play if they do.
similar attendance for this one. DEPENDING ON YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS BEING LENIENT WITH THE PRICING ISSUE. circa 11/12k.
southampton only had 9k on the other day, i see the media soon forgot about that one didn’t they matt le tosser
