    would it not have been better to let him do the coaching role then bring in a manager to manage the team and tactics

    just a thought to put out there

    That’s not actually as daft as it sounds. Too late though, he has swung the axe and needed a manager in place to even offer it.

    I was only thinking the same this morning. Even though i wanted him gone as manager, i do believe he could have been a good coach

    Has happened in the NRL when was obvious a coach was a coach not a manager.

    It looks like Man Utd are after getting him back there, so possibly could have been a great move under a Good Manager
