Or is Cookie planning on twin strikers if and when necessary. Surely Will gets the nod when fit. Of course we could lose Cole and maybe even Vaughan before the window shuts properly but it seems strange to sign 2 strikers making 5 in all if your gonna play one up top on his lonesome. It could be we could have a side out soon that doesn’t resemble the side that clinched the title at Doncaster.
Maybe in the cup at Rotherham we won’t see any of the side from that day and even at Villa less than half of that side may be playing.

If we just had injuries surely Vaughan or Cole just steps in. Powell can also play up top if needed. Exciting ain’t it having a decent squad lol.
We are in the enviable position now of having decent first team quality players that can’t even get a place on the bench.

Well Grigg was no great shakes last Saturday and he does lack pace at this level I reckon. Hope I’m proved wrong !!!
