A point away in Europe for a championship team against last years runners up, who have lost just the once this year. Also whilst fielding a debate able second choice team with no out and out striker. Am I missing something?

If you’re going to throw him on anyway, why not start with him, get a goal then take him off, seemed odd to me .I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Wiganers are NEVER happy.
Who cares how we performed? Who cares that our second string side was lucky? The fact is we got a point away from home in Europe in a competition that isn’t even our priority..

The point bwing is that Championship is more important than the Europa league I would have thought that would be obvious then again
He brought Fortune on, if he was protecting him he wouldn’t have, I would have thought that was the obvious part ! I might just work in the afternoon from now on, no way will I get a work related injury then, thanks for the advice .
I would have said it was obvious why he was on the bench and was brought on.
He was on the bench in the hope of not needing him and was brought on as an outlet for the defence to hold the ball up and try and hit them on the break. Similar reason to Dicko coming on with his pace that he opted not to use when given the chance and gave the ball away instead.
I trust that we will be back to full strength for Ipswich on Sunday.
Presumably the squad players will get another run-out against Manchester City. We can only wonder who will play centre forward then.
