Yes, he’s nuts.
Reason he is so deluded is that he lives in such wealth and oppulence, he’s scared of losing all that. Can’t really blame him, I suppose.
Our troops should NOT be sent there under any circumstances. Although the SAS is already there, it’s mainly to repatriate our citizens, though I think they’ll be doing a bit of a ‘recce’ assessment as well. It’s not for us to get involved in, and our forces are so stretched, it would be a diabolical decision.
It really annoys me that we basically ‘brown nosed’ him by freeing that Al-Megrahi chap, who bombed the Lockerbie plane. We only did that as a goodwill gesture to Gadaffi. Shameful.
I find it quite funny that after years of us and America wanting him out, it’s his own people who are working towards it.
