Looks that way ,maybe some of the ideas that Faz collected and posted to the club from vital have actually been seen and read .
I have said for years we have no pressence in the town center and needed an outlet there
It’s like teams on the continent, a lot have stadium based shops, AND town/city centre ‘Fan Shops’. I myself, have been to Hertha Berlin’s, and Ajax Amsterdam’s operations. I was amazingly impressed. Also, when our club shop was announced, I forwarded a merchendise catalogue to the club for reference on ideas, etc. The Germans cover everything. They even do toasters with the club crest toasted onto the bread! Another point is that from requesting the catalogue on a Friday, it fell through my letterbox the following TUESDAY! That’s impressive, so efficient.
Hertha sell match tickets from their ‘Fan Shop’ and it also covers rail transport to and from the game. Mind you, they are sponsored by The Deutsche’s Reichsbahn (German Railways), but it’s a very good idea. Hertha are ‘pants’ this season, but that’s another story………….
Done well, it can be a success. My only concern is that the Rugby tried having a club shop in the galleries once before, where Duffer is, I think, and it didn’t work, did it?
It is handy for people who work in, or go in town, if they can buy tickets there. Saves a trek down to the stadium.

Was that because nobody could give a shit about the cherry and shite?
I’m pleasantly surprised and well done, finally, to the club. Not only the shop after so many years, but the WN1 bit as well. Why do I keep thinking it’s April 1st, though?
