31 March 2021 at 12:20 am #192055The best news I have heard for a long time.
There were some “fans” that gave in and not only should they be ashamed of themselves, but they should be told to f*** off and go ans support someone else. Thankfully, not everyone gave in.
Massive thank you to JayT, Egg and the rest of the committee of the supporters club, Lisa Nandy, the council and everyone else who stood up and made sure our club wouldn’t die.
They tried their best to kill us, but we have the last laugh as always.
Wigan Athletic 2 Stanley Choi and his mates 1.
31 March 2021 at 2:04 am #192056Quite right there 352.
Plenty of people turned their backs on us when it got tough and no doubt they’ll be the first to tell us they shed a tear tonight.
Worst for me though is the media. About 30 seconds we got on sky. Just imagine if the glazers (crooks themselves) sell to someone like choi and then a stanley or a krasner rapes them to within an inch of their lives. Never be off the tele.
We have beat everyone today, and you know wjat…i think we’ll beat em again and stay uo. I fucking love this club.
31 March 2021 at 7:17 am #192057These past 9 months have been nothing short of turbulence, tears, depression, hope, optimism, rejection & now one of absolute joy. Basically it has been a whole array of mixed emotions for us all. At times I hoped & prayed for a buyer whilst in my own head was preparing for the worst & the what if we have no football club? But I would have always stuck by this club no matter what even had we have had to reform in non league again.
I never once felt convinced by choi & IEC, but I do with our new owners. UTT
31 March 2021 at 7:21 am #192058It’s another historic day in the Roller-coaster club of ours and for one I’m made up its over. From once topping the Premier League to near obscurity its been one hell of a ride and especially the last few years.
Fair play to our new owners who have instantly made a connection with fans online something those vvankers Choi and Way and including pinky & Perky the Royles failed to do so good riddance to them.
I just hope they have a full understanding of the huge task that financially lies ahead.
This isn’t a straight forward job like buying a 2nd hand car were you hop in and drive away. This is like buying a car from a breakers yard were every piece of value has been stripped and sold on so your first job is replacing what’s missing and get it running and that’s before you even hit the road.
With Covid and the lack of incoming funds their pockets better be deep. The running of the stadium alone the size of ours will be an expensive job on its own.
The first job, get that f””kin Lenegan paying a fair and up to date rent. Apparently they currently pay 10% of all gate fees a f,,kin joke if true which is nearly rent free and if they don’t like a rent increase ? fcuk off out our hair. They would have happily seen us go under then they’d have paid nearly nothing the Stadium. They’ve happily chugged along paying peanuts while we’ve forked out millions in running the place so cough up or f””k off the parasitic scum.Let’s just hope Richardson can pull this final miracle off and keep us up.
I personally feel a drop to League two will gave a catastrophic outcome for us as a club and might be a bridge to far in the current climate31 March 2021 at 7:37 am #192060One more battle left to do, to avoid relegation this season, agree with Stu here (i must be getting soft) but i also think we will.
Up the fuckin’ tics!
Fuck the EFL

Not sure any fans gave in ,it’s hard to tell as we have not been allowed to attend games for the last twelve months. A lot of fans have said a lot of stuff over the last nine months , most of it out of sheer frustration ,but it’s only because they care. We now need to draw a line under it , get behind the new owners and ,when we can ,get down to the DW ( or whatever it’s going to be called ) in big numbers and get the place rocking . Up the Tics !
