7 October 2010 at 11:43 pm #48301I like the bloke who said that they’ll end up as a mid-table team. I would have thought that was more of an aspiration than anything at present.
8 October 2010 at 1:42 am #48302Trust Liverpool to use actors, singers and comedians – essentially people who live in a fantasy world and talk make-believe for a living – to make a plausible plea. Drama queens, one and all.
I don’t want to see any of our clubs go to the wall due to the greed and indifference of foreign businessmen but, oh God, if one has to go, please let it be the murdering scouse scum – no offence, like

Surprised, and a little dissappointed at you there, Griff.
The people on that video, the ‘celeb’ types, are GENUINE match-going reds. Sue Johnston goes to Euro aways, I’ve seen her. Neil Fitzmaurice is a red, as is the guy from ‘Cast’, and the others. No Cilla or Tarby, but that WOULD have been going too far.
Fine club, Liverpool. Nothing against them. One of THE big clubs in World football.
8 October 2010 at 5:49 am #48329I was shocked at how many scousers got time off work to go and protest.
Oh. :o

Typical, head-up-the-arris scousers, I’m afraid. John Bishop? Great fella, very funny man, standing there like his kid’s just been run over. Sad thing is, they’ll claim that this video is what finally forced through the change of owner.
Mattter of life and death? Only someone associated with a scouse club could ever have come out with that drivel.
Killing Liverpool? None of them seemed that concerned when they were killing Italians in 1985.
8 October 2010 at 3:34 pm #48350I find it all a bit funny.
They expect everyone to support them in all this ‘Built by Shanks f*cked up by Yanks’ bo**ocks, but at the same time they have pi**ed their sides at Man Utd problems. What nationality is this new bloke anyway?
What makes them think these lot will be any different? They can see the turmoil at OT with their American owners.
The present board and owners have invested heavily in LFC. Its the ones they have invested in who are to blame for their predicament i.e the Manager and players. But typical scousers, its always someone else’s fault.
8 October 2010 at 4:11 pm #48354Latest news.
8 October 2010 at 10:40 pm #48378No club is infallible no matter what they have won !
12 October 2010 at 10:10 am #48530That’s one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in years.
A sheep shagger from Yorkshire, a German, a Norweigan and a few Paddys talking about ‘their club’. Add to the mix the guy with the fixture list who hasn’t turned his calendar over since 2004/2005 and probably thinks they’re away at Southampton next week and it’s right up there with an episode of Only Fools and Horses.
What Liverpool fans don’t seem to realise is that their former Manager paid a fortune for players that were utter crap. The two that are any good are always injured. (don’t forget that Stevie G loves the club so much that it was a £100k+ a week contract that kept him there and not said love for the club)
Lets be honest, there is no way they’ll be docked 9 points on Friday. A club like us would probably have been on Wednesday but we don’t have this massive history and didn’t produce the Beatles (wtf has that got to do with anything) did we so that’s ok.
I never really experienced the bad financial times at Latics, but can only imagine how bad it must have been and what goes through your mind thinking your club is being killed slowly from within (imagine being a Wimbledon fan ffs) which I experienced a few years ago with the rugby, but I have to agree with Griff in that if the FA do have balls and deduct them points on Friday I will laugh my tits off. If they were to get relegated on the back of it I’m not sure I’d be able stand up.
Just another thought – surely all those celebs could throw some money in and buy ‘their club’ and sort the problems out? I know if the future of WAFC or WRLFC was in doubt and I was a millionaire/billionaire I’d stump some cash up.
14 October 2010 at 11:43 pm #48712What a bunch of sanctimonious pricks. As if that video would make any difference at all.
Half of the adjectives they used could be used to describe scousers in general.
Cherry on the cake that really made me p1ss myself was when Russ Abbot popped up!14 October 2010 at 11:50 pm #48714I have nothing against the club but I do hope it goes t1ts up for them! Love seeing giants fall! The video was also pathetic.
