Morsy is in control of the situation, if he agrees personal terms with Barnsley, he’s gone. Played his socks off today, MOTM totally deserved. I hope he stays, AND plays.

But why pick a player for one game knowing he’s off the week after. Imagine your the player stood down for him. Not gonna make for a happy squad is it? I think Joyce must rate him and I would hope he’s had a word with the lad and convinced him that he is an integral part of his plans. Sometimes that’s all is needed its what the great man managers do .

It does at times, however that has nothing to do with what we are offering him, nobody in power has openly stated we desperately want him to stay, so why would you expect us to match what they are offering?
