Im reading an article today about Calvin Ramsay where Maloney is basically saying its his fault that he’s not playing and he needs to find a better way to help him understand what he wants from him.
This is about the second or third time, maybe more that this season already Maloney is saying its his fault – we don’t score enough goals, attack not clicking, subs were wrong etc. .. surely then with all these being his fault, he has to take a good look at himself and ask if he is really up to the job – or our owners do ?
If someone who has been coached at a very high level at Liverpool is failing to understand what Maloney wants, it makes you think the other players don’t either but he has no choice but to play them anyway due to lack of numbers in other positions…
Really hoping for goals and points tonight ..
1 October 2024 at 2:01 pm #203850I haven’t seen enough of Ramsey to call judgement but basing the way Chambers conducts himself on the pitch he’s been coached at a far higher and intense level than our lot.
Everything with Chambers is done with a view of winning the ball back asap and going forward regardless. 9 times out of 10 when Chambers gets the ball his first objective is to look up and forward no Maloney keep hold sideways back sh*t.
Now I can only imagine Ramsey’s had a similar type of coaching. Look, we have a manager who’s all about let’s not lose this game hense why we struggle up front and the 0-0’s are stacking up. He chokes the way we go forward.
I’ve lost faith in him, we have a young starving forward in Stones who can’t even get 2 mins on the pitch.
Against Stevenage Maloney made 5 subs Taylor had run his socks off chasing lost causes in a drab 0-0 and no Hugill on the bench.
Any manager would have said to Stones
“Here goes lad run your nuts off and give us a winner”
Not Maloney, he left Taylor on for the full 90 then against Exeter when Hugills back dropped Stones. That my friend sums up a dummy spitting manager whos clearly fell out with Stones who can’t even get on the bench in the 1st place.
He named Stones against Stevenage on the bench with absolute no intention what so ever of bringing him on.
So on the subject of Ramsey it seems if he doesn’t like you your done. There’s no “good at your job” reprieve and I might not like you but you can do a job, oh no your made to look a c*nt
Anyway, if you say things about local top club loanees I’m sure that will reverberate around the agents and big clubs.
Make a rod for your own back hey
1 October 2024 at 10:37 pm #203853Good overdue performance tonight against a side I didn’t think we’re that bad especially the first half but regarding Josh Stones ?. Maloney humiliated that young lad tonight he should be a fookin shamed of himself.
Maloney takes off a tired Taylor at 3-0 up and 15mins of the game left then brings on a defender.
Now if that wasn’t done to humiliate the lad I don’t know what is.
Hang your head in shame Maloney that was awful you dummy spitter, grow up
