With none of them being originally from Wigan, I totally agree. Some may know the word ‘skint’ but ‘clempt’, not a chance.
Yeah they get paid more than we can imagine, but don’t think some of them don’t know what poor is. The likes of Valencia (I know he’s manure now), figgy, Thomas and Hugo come from backgrounds that make life in wigan luxurious by comparison. I’m pretty sure they know what it’s like to be clempt.
