How is it then that England could not beat what was basically Celtic from the aforementioned league.

If so if we don’t sell many season tickets then we are going to pick up even less casual/10-15 match a season fans.

They are pampered prima-donnas who can turn on the style when there is a huge pot of cash, they are surrounded by better players and command the adoration of 40,000 fans. When the cash isn’t there, the Silvas, Agueros, Hazards etc are elsewhere and there is the expectation of 40 million fans, they revert to type.

Walking the ball around etc etc. Scotland changed the game when they went more positive. Put pressure on defences and defences make mistakes that lead to goals.
In detest the England team, for reasons many have already said. They are boring, flat, and about as entertaining ad watching your dog have a piss. The team is full of players who actually don’t have any pride and who never seem to bust a gut. The last team we had that really did bust a gut was in 1996.
I was genuinely jumping up in the air when Scotland went 2-1 up as I was pleased as punch. But as soon as that ball was knocked in, I knew Kane would score. I wish Scotland could’ve held out. They put England to shame.

Detest the big headed players who are a bunch of tarts, and the complete media circus that surrounds them. Each every tournament they build them up…to knock them down. Bores the hell out of me. Eric Dier and Jake Livermore? Ffs…

Suppose you do have a point, I grew up watching Bryan Robson playing for England
he would put his head were others would fear putting their feet.Brian Clough would have sorted the current lot out.

I just can’t see why some on here watch football if they detest it that much. The comment about wanting Scotland to beat England takes the biscuit. I hate both codes of Rugby so I don’t support my local rugby team and couldn’t care what the lions do. As it passed people’s attention that several Scotland players ply their trade in the English Premier and Football League. Seriously if I hated football that much I would start watching women’s hockey.
