Glad to see joffy might be off to blackburn

But don’t bring this mon back to us ffcksHe’s a promising player and I was initially pleased at the thought of him coming back.
With some thought though now I’m not so sure as I’m not sure he’d improve on what we have up front already.
Id sooner any funds ( assuming we have some obviously) be spent on improving that non existent midfield and some additional cover at the back.
If we haven’t got the funds then maybe look into that development squad again for another Hughes ,Thelo or Lang.If we’re going to play 5 at the back (I can’t class McClean or Darikwa as wing backs then I’ll tell you what we need:
Firstly bring in a midfielders attacker’s with pace, I’m not saying quick,blistering quick !!.
Stop fcukin playing the Hail Mary Wyke Fletcher or Magennis for them to nod it back towards our goal only for the opposition midfield to swallow it up,
Instead:-
A front 2-3 with pace quick nippy get in behind players so when that ball goes over they can peel off the shoulder of the defender and get in behind.Seriously !! When was the last time we ever had pace in our side ???. I see the likes of Sunderland (and a few others) with nippy young players playing at pace cut through us like a hot knife through butter
Were the fcuks is our outlet and pace ?. The one so called quick player in the squad is Scully and he’s only contributions so far is cutting the oranges at half time.We need a different direction, and ball playing midfielder, width with pace and please please please someone up front who’s quick no more lumps please
Another thing about Gelhardt, the sticking point is his wage demands while on loan. I personally feel that if we are going to pay top dollar in our eyes in wages for a player I would at least go for someone far far more experienced than him.
Granted he is good player but has he the experience and knowledge to dig us out this mess? I’m not so sure.
Lets hope some of our piss poor fans don’t turn on him as quickly as they’ve turned on Kolo.
Supporting a club is about being behind them through the good times as well as the bad. Unfortunately some of our fans haven’t done that, they’ve wrote a manager off before he’s managed to build his own team.
Is Joffy the new messiah? We will only find out when he’s played 10 or 12 games in Kolo’s new line up.
Please give him the time he deserves and not post things like “no goals in 5 games, he’s shyte”

My concern is, he’s only as good as the players around him and their ability to play to him that ball he’ll need to score.
