Loan ? just a tab hard faced for a regular last season. I can understand a cheeky low ball offer but come on Latics loan a regular from a competitor ?
If reports are true, Lowe is having a medical tomorrow plus we are supposedly signing Williams and the lad from Chelsea on loan. So is Johnson just an alternative in case they don’t come off.
It looks like Latics are reaching a new Lowe in their recruitment!

Joe Williams has signed a 3 year deal.
Dujon Sterling coming on loan tomorrow.
Apparently we are going to make an improved offer for Daniel Johnson.And possibly Connor Gallagher, another Chelsea youngster on loan as well.
Exciting times!
Assuming these signings are confirmed the squad is looking a lot healthier than it was but it’s still very sparse in parts. We are light in the centre forward spot and basically the whole defence bar right back has no cover. Hopefully another 2 or 3 come in before the window shuts.
Its all coming together, we never had any doubts did we?
Can’t wait for Saturday now!

Shame they weren’t all here 5 weeks ago to be training, gelling etc with the rest of the squad.
However the game these days is just so much a formula, boring and bland that new players arriving just slot in and out of a system.
It’s only like last season when square pegs where being shoved into round holes that this formula football falls apart.I’m banking there will some more interest tomorrow
