Fine..I’m not a great lover of Gomez and never have been and perhaps he is my scapegoat when we play poor, and that is not right to do so.And in a better side with better players he may shine he may not who knows. It maybe our strikers don’t offer the option for him .As for my picture I will change it to something more modern and funky.Off for a game of killer in half way house now and some chat with the finest pisspots in Wig an.
20 January 2013 at 1:30 am #100532Wouldn’t question so much the contribution of Gomez, as ask whether the front 3 of Di Santo, Maloney and Gomez is one that works ?? Not sure.
Whelan there today – wonder whether we’ll be dipping into our plentiful reserves in the coming days (speculate to accumulate). We are probably just about the worst team on current form (bar Newcastle) are we not ?
Southampton, QPR, Reading all picking up points.
We must start SOON. Missing Kone.
20 January 2013 at 1:59 am #100536Here we are again in a position where we have to scrap and fight for everything. That means EVERYBODY working hard in Defence Midfield & Upfront.
So why is it that Senor Gomez continues to ‘strut’ around like he’s in a training session……his work rate is just not enough and I don’t think I saw him trying to win the ball back or put his foot on a tackle throughout the whole game!!!
Yes he has the ability to put in a killer pass, but there were times in the game when I forgot he was on the pitch!!!…
He’s a lazy arse and why should we carry him…we havent got that luxury!!
:angry:I’ll just go off the number of posts this numpty as had on the forum to judge my verdict of the poster

Isn’t that comment a bit materialistic thty5yearswafc … Like saying Wigan shouldn’t be in the prem cos we get sh !te crowds.
Doesn’t matter how many posts you have, it’s an opinion expressed on a message board at the end of the day…20 January 2013 at 2:46 am #100545Gomez played well today in my opinion.
20 January 2013 at 3:22 am #100549And in my opinion Mr Runcorn because you confessed to booing our football team you should be put in the stocks and have rotten fruit thrown at you ,but no women allowed mind you.
20 January 2013 at 5:56 pm #100584Jimmyc………..I’ll stop you when your wrong fella….quantity of posts does not necessarily reflect the quality of the posts.
Anyroadup….am not solely blaming Gomez…there were some poor performances yesterday, but those performances did have some effort.
20 January 2013 at 6:20 pm #100587Mr eaststander, the booing comment was on another thread. Not this one.

Get trumpeting. We love Roberto, Jordi is my hero. Sad, can’t believe we’ve ended up with so many happy clappers. Why do the happy clappers come out the woodwork in premier league, but nowhere to be seen years back?

Because we didn’t have the unhappy clappers in those days, or more to the point, the internet?D- must try harder.
