Now that is good news!
23 January 2014 at 4:24 pm #126237Isn’t he a similar type of player to Nick Powell though?
23 January 2014 at 4:24 pm #126238Can’t say i know a massive amount about him or how good he is but was central midfield really that much of a priority to strengthen when Latics already have Watson, McCann, McArthur, Gomez, Powell & Espinoza??
23 January 2014 at 4:39 pm #126239I wish we had 11 Nick Powells. :cheer:
Wheres our friend Nippleslip?, this has slipped through your net mate.
Bloody rubbish Nipple! :P
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!23 January 2014 at 5:14 pm #126241Can’t say i know a massive amount about him or how good he is but was central midfield really that much of a priority to strengthen when Latics already have Watson, McCann, McArthur, Gomez, Powell & Espinoza??Yes, we have quantity.
But with Maloney not yet ready to return, perhaps Rosler wanted some more quality for the second half of the season.
23 January 2014 at 5:21 pm #126242Could be that Watson and McArthur are being sold!!!!
23 January 2014 at 5:24 pm #126243Could be that Watson and McArthur are being sold!!!!I suspect, if anything, it is to allow Powell to go back to United.
And whilst McEachran is a good signing, I’d still prefer another striker coming in.
23 January 2014 at 7:35 pm #126249McEachran has found it hard to get first team experience at Chelsea – as Powell has at United.
He was on the bench and came on to play at Bolton just three years ago;
Monday, 24 January 2011 Barclays Premier League Bolton 0-4 Chelsea. He should complement Powell, playing behind him.

23 January 2014 at 8:38 pm #126253I do get out – I was there as a neutral supporter! It was the Monday before Wigan went there on Saturday in the Fourth Round of the Cup.
It was the Coyle’s first full season in charge of Wanderers. He did quite well in the league – I expected much better when he came here.
23 January 2014 at 8:45 pm #126254Are you sure your not Ironing board George

24 January 2014 at 2:06 am #126273Josh McEachran should feel at home at the DW, I have a couple of mates who are Watford fans and it seems he has got plenty of stick this season, many accusing Zola of only playing him because of his Chelsea connections.
He was not very highly rated by them leading my mate to saying “he looked frightened to even pass a ball in the end but it must have affected the lads confidence when half the crowd are barracking his every touch and cheering when he gets substituted.
Don’t worry Gomez will show him the ropes.
24 January 2014 at 2:37 am #126274I hope it’s not a case of out of the frying pan…
