A reality check guys, in the games we have had with Joyce in charge look who we’ve played (not including Reading cos he was stitched up that game):
Barnsley was on a run of form, scoring goals for fun and we held them to a goaless draw at their gaff.
Huddersfield was in the top 6 and we won – at their gaff.
Derby had won 5 on the bonce when they came to he DW and we were close to winning that game never mind lose.
Villa scored in last couple of minute to snatch a draw they didn’t deserve.
Newcastle were a different class, will probably win the league and i expected nothing more thnan a loss.
4 points out of those 5 games it probably what our best case scenario would have been going into them.The last three games are not the ones thta will define our season, the next two are extremely winnable and I would say if we did win them that we have the confidence we didn’t have in teh homw game against Derby to maybe get at least a draw over at their gaff.
The judgement on Joyce should be on the next two games, not the last 3.
He has only been in charge of two of those 5 home games, we were outplayed last night and Derby we should have done better.
