what do you think ?That could be one of the daftest suggestions I’ve heard on this board, and let’s face it there have been some whoppers.
Why on Earth would Newcastle, as much as they are a bit miffed with us, give points to their biggest rivals just to upset us? It’s delusional on a Barcode scale of magnitude to think that they are that bothered about us when they are not out of danger themselves.
Newcastle played at Befica last Thursday and came home losing 3-1.
They play the return leg on Thursday night. It will be a hard game if they try to overturn the deficit. So I don’t expect Newcastle to be at their best.
Di Canio has a week to get to know his new team.
