I paid £35 per month to access videos etc on Latics tv. I have just stopped that direct debit. I got my season ticket ages ago as I do every season. The reason is if I left it late I may not bother and I’m sure I wouldn’t be going out buying one now.
Whelan, Martinez or whoever can’t escape criticism, but these players are lacking in commitment and desire. Win or lose, we have always given a good account to the top 4 sides, but that was quite gutless.20 September 2009 at 12:41 am #9192Isn’t it £35 a year?
20 September 2009 at 3:13 am #9210Yes it is. That’ll teach em eh?
20 September 2009 at 4:05 pm #9257Isn’t it £35 a year?Youre right, but you know what I meant. One things for certain though, ive just saved myself £200. Wouldnt mind watching a team lose every week and indeed being a Latics fan have done in the past. But I do mind when the team show no effort and the club show no remorse. Think a week in Tenerife will be more rewarding than watching these men, disgusted with these performances.
20 September 2009 at 5:49 pm #9270Do what I do, and get a cheap flight to somewhere like Berlin and go and ENJOY a game over there, with no pressure, a few beers, and a change of scenery.
Doing that every now and again, does you good, I can tell you.
20 September 2009 at 7:57 pm #9281Why is it when we lose, people say it’s because the player’s weren’t trying. The plain and simple fact of the matter is that Arsenal are lot better than us. They scored 6 at Goodison and are the highest scorers in the league.

We were quite clearly trying when you see our posession, goal attempts, yellow cards, shots on target, chances and see us trotting about on the pitch with real determination. You are right though I suppose, this lot are really trying.
20 September 2009 at 9:41 pm #9290Sorry to be thick, but I really don’t understand how you’ve just saved yourself £200??
21 September 2009 at 1:35 am #9336I was thinking that myself Garswood. Perhaps he’s registered 6 times for the Wigan World thinggy.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!21 September 2009 at 3:38 pm #9380Oh dear oh dear, there are some bright sparks on here. Not exactly playing with a full deck you two are you. But out of pure pity for you, I shall spell it out. Season ticket at £250 minus 3 games at £15 each. Get the general idea?
21 September 2009 at 3:54 pm #9381And how have saved 2 tonne mate, either me, garswood and jr are realy numb,or you are on a different planet pal, try reading your’e original post, you said you have cancelled the direct debit for wigan world thingymajig not your’e season ticket wich i presume is what you have really cancelled, if this is what you have done shame on you.
21 September 2009 at 3:55 pm #9382Get the general idea?Errr, No. You will have to explain it to me also.
I understand how you have saved £35 by getting shut of WAFCTV, but how you have saved a further £200 is beyond me, even considering your last post that supposedly spelt it out for us.Have you sold your season ticket?
Have you stopped your DD?
Are you not buying next season to save the money?
Or is there another explanation.21 September 2009 at 3:56 pm #9383Oh dear oh dear, there are some bright sparks on here. Not exactly playing with a full deck you two are you. If you’ve already bought the season ticket, how have you saved anything?
I may have had a couple of hefty G&T already today, but I’m with Garswood and JR on this one.
Explanation, and possibly paracetemol and coffee, required please :?

That said, I might not be right on that score.
