Sounds a great signing…………………….NOT!!
30 May 2018 at 7:56 pm #169410I bet you said the same about Perkins and Dunkley, because they were frees from a lower division.
30 May 2018 at 9:25 pm #169411I’d sooner have players that are prepared to walk over broken glass to sign for Paul Cook; and he sounds that type of blood to me !
30 May 2018 at 9:28 pm #169412A new bench warmer to replace Roberts possibly. Didn’t hear any rumours of many other clubs in the Championship chasing him.
Not very awe inspiring signing for the level we are entering. Maybe would have been a little more excited about it this time next year.30 May 2018 at 10:07 pm #169414Maybe would have been a little more excited about it this time next year. What do you mean donny by this time next year.
30 May 2018 at 10:28 pm #169415Sorry Runcs I meant this time last year. Don’t think we can expect to hear about proper signings untill the takeover is finally completed. Proper in the context of signing players who are better than what we already have. If indeed we do sign players like that after we are taken over.
30 May 2018 at 11:44 pm #169416Lots of clubs Prem and Championship will be keeping the cards close to their chest till the World Cup is over. Once they know who’s who and who’s fit I’m pretty sure only then fringe players will start appearing, surplus to requirements.
Hopefully then we can take advantage of this and pick up the odd freebie signing and 1 or 2 decent loanee’s which we desperately need if we intend to stay up31 May 2018 at 12:40 am #169419A player known to Cook very well. I’ll trust his judgement, rather than the experts on here.
31 May 2018 at 12:43 am #169420Chesterfield not releasing anyone yet Vat?

The way i read your post it sounded to me like you were expecting us to be relegated.
31 May 2018 at 6:41 pm #169432On about a utility player ;-
1 June 2018 at 12:45 pm #169436Very disappointing signing and from what I’ve seen of him it’s not good.
1 June 2018 at 1:43 pm #169440Even if this is being viewed as an early signing ( Pre new owners ) it is still a pretty underwhelming one!

Who’s to say he’ll be a first team regular but if he is won’t he deserve to be or are we now lining up a different scapegoat to Massey?
It’s the end of May. If he was a panic buy just before the season starts because we’ve not been able to sign anybody else then that would be a cause for concern. But he’s not and neither will he be.
