I supported this club when it was C R A P, which is unlike the majority of people who now claim to be fans, many of whom would drop Latics like a red-hot stone, if the hard times ever returned.

I have no problem with the bandwagoners as long as they stay on when things are going bad. Also not everyone quite new to Latics is a bandwagoner. There is young fans who have come at a time when we play at a big stadium in a big league, It’s not their fault. I bet about 2,000 have died since the mid nineties who went. Shall we wait until everyone has snuffed it then open the gates for new fans.

For the record, he’s as static and as injury prone as Sibierski, and is on something like £50k a week.
