Wigan Athletic can confirm that Olivier Kapo has left the club by mutual consent.
Having made 22 league appearances since his arrival in July 2008 an agreement was made between the player and the club to bring his Wigan Athletic career to an end.
The 29-year-old joined Latics from Birmingham City, scoring two goals in his time at the DW Stadium against Ipswich Town in the Carling Cup in 2008, and in the club’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2009.
A loan-spell last season to French-club Boulogne saw Kapo make 12 appearances and score twice before returning to Latics in the summer.
Thank god for that, Rob is getting rid of the old players, Next on the list Gomez please!
