After reading Barnsley fans views on his departure, watching a bit of footage of Moore, looking at his goal scoring figure at different levels it seems to me it’s been a bit of a slow and steady progress for him, possibly a later bloomer ?, only time will tell.
His last attempt in the Championship was under a manager who changed the side on a weekly basis plus the age he was I don’t think too many fans can draw a conclusion from that.
So hopefully now that he’s a year or 2 older, wiser and physically stronger and if used correctly then I cannot any reason why he cant get us 15+ goals this season.
My only fear from Saturday is, after Saturday we’ve set a president in our performance level and trying to maintain that week in week out might be nigh impossible.Oh and apparently Moores sh7t of a shovel fast, something weve definitely lacked over the last few seasons.

Quite a few of us on here are your stereotypical happy clapping realistic bunch of supporters.

So true, only you and your tramadol bunch of “Eeeeeeeee, I remember ….”happy clappers are so narrow minded enough to think I hope we stay up. I hope the club owners and the players alike are more ambitious than you. Christ I bet you were just happy to beat Macclesfield back in 2013.
I know what would make you happy, a bovril and a trip Telford away and a snatch over the program.7 August 2019 at 2:44 pm #180164My only fear from Saturday is, after Saturday we’ve set a president in our performance level and trying to maintain that week in week out might be nigh impossible.

However, I am realistic enough to know that the performance on Saturday CANNOT be repeated every week for all manner of reasons. That is where you & I & many others differ in our opinions.
For the record, I’m not very keen on bovril. It sticks at the bottom no matter how hard you stir it.
7 August 2019 at 9:30 pm #180169Why can’t it ?…Isn’t that what winning teams have to do…..consistency???….Christ ,your not preparing your excuses already ???..As cup winners says I’m sure, manager, owners, players have genuine passion and ambition so let’s aim high…..or will 4 from bottom give you permanent wood again ??
7 August 2019 at 9:58 pm #180170I agree we should be looking to consistently playing like last Saturday, and better. We haven’t spent the money for nothing and most of the team are looking to improve their game under Cook.
Last Saturday wasn’t even our strongest team.
8 August 2019 at 12:15 am #180175Not at all! We have a better, stronger & in depth team to really push on this season. I predict a boring mid – top half finish. You & your mate might not like that, but realistically, that is where we are as a club at the moment. I hope I’m wrong & we sneak into the play-offs or better. But just cant see it this season.
