Seriously though.. If anyone showed interest in Kirkland we should have sold.. Kingson was one of the best keepers in the WC and Stoikovich didn’t do badly either!

Kingson was a feckin awful keeper, although marginally better than that Serbian guy we had on loan
We must have been watching different world cup’s coz he was just as bad for Ghana – the occasional good save from a shot but flapping around like no-one’s business whenever the ball came into his box
Whilst Kirkland form has undoubtedly dropped since Bruce (or more specifically Nigel Spink) left neither Kingson or Stojkovic are fit to lace his gloves

In regards to the other guys post he is talking utter sh1te!!.. Kingson is probably better than Kirkland to be honest! He was number 1 for a team that got further than England where Kirkland couldn’t even make the squad ;)
