Look at it another way, let’s say he turns a move and he becomes 3rd 4th choice at Wigan, will that move ever be on the table again without regular football ?.

Then let’s take the scenario that he leaves. He will have to improve 10 fold to even get a sniff or end up wiltering away in some big club reserves.

I think he will get a fair bit of game time in all honesty if he stays with us. He’d certainly get a lot less at Newcastle. Be lucky if he made the bench there.

I’m not so sure. My point is, is he prepared to turn his nose up at stepping stone big move or sign for us and hope he gets game time and another move comes along later on down the line?.
I know I wouldn’t not only that, he’ll be on far more coin than we can offer.
It just doesn’t make sense him stopping with us. I would move then if I have to loan to a decent championship side.It worked for Ivan Toney when he was at Newcastle
So many clubs supposedly after him ,I think his agent is doing overtime trying to get him a move. Really hope he stays but if he is pushing for a move good luck to him.We don’t want players who don’t want to be here.
