4pts deducted and 4pts suspended till June 2024. If we fail to put 125% of our monthly wage bill into an account or fail to pay wages between now and June 2024 another 4 deducted.
But,
What if
We fail to put the 125% in then we fail to pay as well say crimbo or something ? Another 4. These owners better get their act together otherwise we’ll die of a horrible lingering death.

We dodged a bullet having 3 points deducted from 22-23 season instead of putting it on 23-24. The EFL will never have a human face, but maybe it’s shown it’s human voice…
AL Jasmi needs to fork out by 24th May or there will be real trouble. Just saying
Not sure what the score is if the deposit account isn’t funded by 24th May AND the June wage payment isn’t made on time. Will that be 2 lots of -4?
The softest and most gullible fans in the UK are now moaning on a forum about points deductions, we should have been kicking off months ago regarding how the club has been run.
No chance at Wigan Athletic lets just sit back, moan on a forum and hope things get better, these lot we have in charge know we are a bunch of wankers and we will believe anything.
If you love the club get off your arse and do something, not buying a season ticket won’t help!Any other clubs fans would have been protesting, no not us, shit scared of us going in to admin again (which is going to happen anyway) and/or be so so grateful to the owners for bailing us out, Fuck em!
Fuck the EFL
Well the EFL have already seen prove of funds but that isn’t enough. The technical problem there is,
Do the EFL want to see 125% of the “old” wage bill or the new when 18 leave and some big earners have gone ?.
Considering this has to be done before 24/05/2023 I would imagine it’s last year’s wage bill.
So to Talal do this:-Set up another account via your bank,
Log into your bank account were this money is currently sat,the same one you recently showed the EFL,
Transfer over 125% of the monthly wage bill from old to new account,
Download and print off the .PDF as proof,
Show printed A4 EFL bank details,
Done n dusted

Pray enlighten me as to what you personally are doing, apart from saying something needs to be done? I offered to vote for you if you were brave enough to put your name forward for the Vital nomination, with a seat at the top table on offer – hell, you’d have even been able to ban me as your first act, yet still you declined, instead preferring to try and provoke a reaction over Sunderland losing in the play-offs (y’know, that competition for successful sides).

Unlike last time were we had player and training ground assests to car crash sell and keep our nostrils above water this time we wouldn’t last a fcukin month because we simply have fcuk all to sell.
These ain’t owners who are laundering or cashing in flash sale etc smash n grab they are owners who basically fcuked up everything allowing a hefty army of five figure players come who were all on Championship wages in L1 and now we’re paying the price.
I still hark back to Brannigan, this prik has a lot to answer for. He controlled the kitty and basically blew the lid clean off it while in L1 and leaving us absolutely fcuk all to give Richardson in The Championship infact no budget what so ever.
Listen, we have to trust them to put wrongs right but they better sort this 125% the same one they’ve ignored for 7 months.
We have to believe they simply fcuked up glandular and they’ll have to rectify it asap. If we don’t and we protest to have them out I can tell you this,The outcome will be million times worse than any 4 or 8pts deducted far far worse, the sh1t will hit the fan that hard turps and a scraper won’t get it off

I must admit our owners actions are hard to swallow but them leaving right now would be catastrophic. The stark reality is, as it stands without them right now we would go under in a max of 2 months.
We have to believe that the majorly fcuked up and once this huge monthly outgoings becomes manageable come June/July and people like Fletcher Cousins Edwards and a gang of others who basically took and never gave have gone then and only then can we start to plan for next season.
The problem now is, what do we do with Jordan Jones Shinnie, Humphrys, McGrath ?. All of these players have a year left.
For me flog the lot asap and get some money in I bet there’s not far off £150k in monthly wages there we can save we can I’ll afford to have these lot top earning in L1.Clubs will have us over a barrel with these lot knowing, if we get them on loan for say 12 month they’ll all be free agents come 2024 because we know Wigan can’t afford to keep them on the payroll and I’m sure none want to play in L1 anyway !!.
Then there’s Wyke the clubs current top earner, we all know what he’s been through but that should be behind him one way or another. The club recently a released a candid give nothing away statement saying hope he gets better, from what ?. No mention of heart problems or injury just a “Get well soon” message.
Now I know this may seem harsh but, he needs to be assessed if he has long term none injury related problems. At any work place you would be looked at and released from your company if you can longer do your job after a lengthy time out. It seems to me that the club are holding back on the real reasons why he’s not been available as there’s a few rumours flying around I won’t mention.9 of the players out of contact or leaving are over 30 which speaks volumes as to which direction we’ve been going in. We should have concentrated on bringing young lads through not flooding the club with top earning end of career players, no wonder were in the sh1t were in !!!!!.
I asked this before, weres the likes of Jonathan Jackson ? I’m not saying he’d be hungry to come back but it’s people like him we need at our club. No more Ballbag Brannigan on £250,000 a year milking us till we bleed we need Latics young and old running our club.
If there’s one good thing that’s going to come out of all this, we will finally start to see some of the younger lads given a chance. Yes we know it will be tough for them and us but we need to get behind them 200% win lose draw.
And a message to our owners, get your act together, you have a clean slate come July top earners will hopefully all be gone and there should not be any more wages issues.
If you cannot run a club next season that will have a wage bill less than the reception class at St Catherine’s has then you need leave our club infact leave football asap and let the missus step in, she can budget better than you lot.
