Newcastle lose by 1 goal v qpr 38pts
Norwich lose by 1 goal v wba 38pts
Newcastle lose by 1 goal v arsenal -25 38pts
Norwich lose by 1 goal v man city -24 38pts
we can afford to lose by 2 v arsenal -25 35pts
if we beat villa by 1 goal -24 38pts
we will stay up -24 but scored more than Norwich.
so it would be
wigan
Norwich
Newcastle
If one of the two lose on Sunday I will be back in belief mode. You never know with this club. But relying on other teams (who have nothing to play for by the way) is worrying.
Hey we could shock ourselves by winning at Emirates. Not unheard of.
There is still a decent change of us staying up, but its probably the bleakest its ever been (yes, 2-0 down at half time to West Ham included).
what did Swansea have to play for.
they are professional footballers, who should be going out to win every game.for the travelling fans if not just pride.
Well if you were QPR would you want to beat Newcastle and further enhance the chances of them being in the same league as you next season with the record they have of coming straight back up ! I think Newcastle and Norwich will get at least a point a piece over the weekend which would make the trip to The Emirates a hell of a tough cookie !

They did it once! they are hardly taking the yoyo title off West Brom are they…
But buying in to your losing games on purpose theory for a second if QPR were to say well do we want Newcastle or Wigan to come down with us surely they would be mental to pick the team that will keep the majority of its players i.e. us over the team that will lose half the squad the manager and have little investment from the owner.
Chris Hughton did well to get them up last time, I dont think they would be as lucky if they went again.
And not for a second am I buying into this we would suddenly become a mid table team in the championship.
Nothing to suggest if we went down we wouldnt still line up with Maloney Kone and Mcmanaman across the front.
Arseholes would be torn in the Championship ! Its a tough league physically but there wouldnt be half as much pace or threat from counter attacks as has been a problem for us this season.

I very much doubt any team would ever deliberately lose against a team to try and ensure they don’t play them again next season.
QPR will still try to win every game: for the prize-money, pride at not finishing bottom, and to appease the fans who they’ll need to entice back next season.
