Now if anyone was wondering why there is so much doom and gloom on here then the above stats should go some way to elucidating! Yet some folk still say ” Stop moaning” ! Fucking hell, they must be easily pleased, that is all I can say! :huh:

But we have only got 12 points on the road as opposed to 13 points at home, how can it be marginally better?
It’s the difference between Rosler’s & Mackay’s records. Uwe accumulated points at home, but struggled away ……….. Mackay’s had a couple of (streaky ?) away wins but the home form under him has been abysmal.

Your subject was the last 8 home games (lost 7 drawn 1). We have 2 wins in the last 8 away games, therefore marginally better.

Home, away, whichever way you look at it we are totally shite and getting worse! Most of the positive board members have gone to ground as they have no positivity to add and so being one trick ponies they are redundant for now! :)

Don’t kid yourself that this forum is anything like representative of what passes for sensible debate on Latics’ fortunes (no pun intended). It’s a school playground at best, and not a very good school at that.

Irrelevant really because despite the win on Saturday and the heartwarming loyalty once again displayed by our superb supporters we are still going down and I am not expecting any glorious fightback because we are simply not good enough for this division.
The home form is bad because the home team has to go out and attack the away team but with a dreadful defence we are easy pickings and so easy to play against,blimey we made Rotherham United look like worldbeaters and there have been many more since picking up a simple three points.Cardiff didn’t get out of first gear last week but still won their easiest threepoints this season.
no doubt the JCL/fairweather queue will be back outside the East stand on Saturday as it usually is after a rare win but I have taken absolutely nothing from that result on Saturday as we beat the only team worse than us.
if we beat norwich on Wednesday and then follow it up with a win against leeds on Saturday then I might be posting something different next Monday night but I’m expecting a mullering on Wednesday and another feeble home defeat on Saturday by a resurgent Leeds.
Really sorry to be negative but all the hope I had has long gone and I’m just hoping the rot can be stopped in league 1 next season but without any investment this club will sink even further and I like many others am extremely concerned about the future.
for some strange reason I have a feeling we will end the home drought against our enemies from Horwich on March 21st but. I’m sorry this season is finished as far as I’m concerned,too. Too Much to do and not enough quality to do it!Vince i thought the same after the Reading away win were on the up , Charlton no problem and Cardiff another 3 pts ere we go, 6 pts on the way to us, didn`t expect 6 goals against and no points.i don`t fancy our chances.
Win the game at home on Saturday and I will be in a very different mood on Monday and might just start to believe. Looks like Kim and pennant have added some quality to our side.
A defeat on Saturday and it’s hopeless so we HAVE to break this dreadful home form this Saturday. A win on Saturday and we face Rotherham at their place the following week and even I might start to believe again.
