Went to the beamback at the DW last night and while I enjoyed the match thought the equipment used to show the game was outdated to say the least. Can’t remember the last time I had to watch a square picture shown using a rear projector, needs updating badly.
Having said that thogh it was a good atmosphere.

Were you able to watch the match?
Did you see what was going on?
What equipment they have is irrelevant, unless you sell projection equipment on a commission basis.

I’d guess he could see the match etc but thought that with today’s technology the equipment used could have been better. There’s a thing called HD ( High Definition ) nowadays George! ;)

That was my point, the picture quality was poor and trying to pick out individual players wasn’t easy.
Thought Dan Burn had an excellent game though, (or was it Bruce, or Morsy, or Grigg?….

What do want for a fiver? I was more concerned with the price of a pint, bloody ridiculous at £4.50.
I can understand those prices at corporate events were you generally get ripped off, but at a beam back with your ordinary fan, get it sorted.

Getting back to the back g screens, the person at the other end needs to stop zooming in. You get to see about a 20m circle round the ball and nothing else. Please in future zoom out and let’s see the moves develop.

          From Matlock to ManU
          What a journey!

I suspect the cub is at the mercy of the home clubs cameraman with stuff like that.

Don’t know if this link will work, got it off the Latics official site but it shows how the game could have been shown at the beamback.

£4.50 a pint seems a bit exorbitant, was it premium stuff? Cheaper for a pint round The Northern Quarter
