15 April 2010 at 2:03 am #29562Diame was solid and so was mccarthy.Bramble played well and confidently. Gohouri played awsome. Figueroa played well. Dnt see why u complaining we didn’t lose and we aint in portsmouth’s position. and like i said earlier we aint world class.
Some of those players arent Town class, Scotland couldnt hit a bus if he was on it.
If you dont score goals, YOU CANNOT WIN GAMES. Our frontline is as fearsome as the French Army. Pathetic. And for people to say Rodellga is worth 10m, they are clearly not right in the head.
15 April 2010 at 2:06 am #29566And for people to say Rodellga is worth 10m, they are clearly not right in the head.Shhhh!! Yes, he is worth about 12 million, but we’ll take 10 million, won’t we… if forced too. He really is worth that much. Honest.
(PS You can have an Austrian a bit past his sell-by date thrown in)

I bet you wern’t saying this when we beat chelsea and liverpool or drawing to stoke or beating Burnley twice. You chat shit mate. All your posts are you complaining and moaning. We support Wigan Athletic and would rather stand by them than called them all crap etc. You go and bloody play. People arn’t saying Hugo is worth 10million it’s a price to try and make teams not buy him you idiot. It’s called a price tag its not his value.

The first time i posted on here that i would be happy to see the back of Martinez was the portsmouth game at their place. I have been saying Scotland is (as you say with your latest 12 year old cool street speak) Whale.
DO you think tha the value of players is assigned on messageboards? And people on here are all talking up his price tag to get someone to buy him?
You clearly are 14 years old at best, and do not have nay real concept on things in any real sense, never mind the economics of football transfers.
15 April 2010 at 2:28 am #29591no im not 14 and i mis spelt a word ‘sorry’ mr. politically correct.
I never said Hugo’s high price is to get teams to buy him you need to read, i said it was to try and keep teams away from him. And you cant spell neither u imbecile. Do u know what that means or do i have to spell it out for you bcoz u clearly can’t spell ‘any’

15 April 2010 at 2:38 am #29597one up front at home, against the bottom of the league, already relegated, 4 players with little or no premiership experience in the Portsmouth side, Scotland starting the game (i know you will all say he is calss BECAUSE HE HAS SCORED ONE DEFLECTED GOAL AT FULHAM), Moses gets to come on at 88 minutes – total joike manager, total joke club appointing the absolute no mark (in managerial terms) bob head.
If he did indeed have any love for Wigan as a club he would tender his resignation with immediate effect at final whistle on the last game of the season.
And Jay, before i get slated for not being positive, there are no positives. We played the worst team in the league, who where completely under strength, who pretty much comfortably held His Highness, the god like Martinezs charges at bay all night.
Cant you see that he may be a great guy, he may have been a good (lower league) player for Wigan. HOWEVER HE IS AN INEPT PREMIER LEAGUE MANAGER.
Cant wait for tonights excuses –
‘they where up for it after the FA Cup’
‘we where tired after our ten day break’
‘this is a PLATFORM to build on’
‘the next four games are cup finals’Face it Bobby, no one (apart from a few of the hardcore on here, fair play to them they have stuck by their guns) wants to hear it any more. A lot of Wigan fans just want to hear him announce he has quit.
Also, did any of you see Graham Jones laughing sarcastically and shaking his head when he told him to get Moses ready? Even Jones knows bob head isnt up to it.
I am sticking to my guns as I want Martinez to be in charge. Totally agree about the Scotland comment, I can see no sense in playing a man up front who is the biggest joke of a striker I have witnessed. He is awful. Also really don’t see why Moses didn’t get a chance earlier, and Moreno too for that matter.
But come on, lets get behind Bobby for the last few games eh, and stop the booing?
Why do you want Bob in charge? he has had nearly a full season and we are still absolute shoite. He wont change his tactics and it’s clear for all to see it ain’t working.
So I ask you again why do you want Bob in charge?
15 April 2010 at 2:52 am #29612One of the best performances i’ve seen, without us scoring, they did everything right except score.

To repeat the question asked by the previous poster what have you possibly seen so far season that would make you think that you want Martinez in charge of this club?
15 April 2010 at 2:59 am #29619One of the best performances i’ve seen, without us scoring, they did everything right except score.Sorry but what game did you watch?
15 April 2010 at 4:14 pm #29685A few of u are quiet gormless to be honest. We didn’t play bad at all except for Scharner awful game. Anyway the only thing lacking in that game was creativity and the will to take a chance and gamble. I don’t agree with the booing. Not suprised they didn’t win being booed and screamed at for a mis judgment. But for all those who will defend urslef saying i didn’t boo and were whale, i dnt care. we aint world class.
I say support you team who alot of you claim to love so dearly instead of complaining. If you dnt like it support another team.
Didnt play bad ???????????????????????????????????????????
Aye, I had to read that a few times. As one of those who has consistently backed Martinez (not necessarily the players, mind) I find it hard to defend either the selections and tactics last night and then the execution of them by the players.Didn’t play bad? No we didn’t play bad. It was truly woeful.
15 April 2010 at 4:43 pm #29690It seems to me that Martinez has never had the respect of the players. That, coupled with his baffling game-plans and tactics (or lack of), is a sure-fire receipe for disaster and some of the inept performances witnessed this season.
It’s easy to single out certain players and make them scapegoats but I do not subscribe to the view that Scharner was disinterested last night. He may have spat out his dummy when subbed but his antics when going off at half-time did not strike me as that of someone who wasn’t all that bothered. Maybe he too is just as frustrated and baffled by Martinez as the rest of us.15 April 2010 at 5:14 pm #29691A few of u are quiet gormless to be honest. I must admit, you did looked bemused last night, I thought it was because you’d seen me in the West Stand and thought you gone in the wrong end. :P
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
15 April 2010 at 5:33 pm #29692I must admit, you did looked bemused last night, I thought it was because you’d seen me in the West Stand and thought you gone in the wrong end. :PAll season, I have arrived at games apprehensive as to which Wigan might turn up. I truly thought that the “good” Wigan might show last night, particularly as a win was eminently possible and would also more than likely ensure our safety.
Last night I was indeed bemused, from the moment I saw the teamsheet to watching the whole team stroll around the park for all but the last 5 minutes or so. At one point I considered walking onto the pitch and gathering the players round to ask them if they were actually aware that they were in a relegation dog-fight.
I am off to Loudmouthblue’s house tonight for some much needed therapy!

Welcome to the dark side
