Well I’m back folks, well for now anyway ! Thought I would just check in and see what the talk of the forum is re signings. Well its quiet and as expected no movers and shakers since the post season cull and the inevitable signing of Al Habsi. The rest of the active topics are lets say old hat so I will be back anon to hopefully discuss some new signings because apart from zogs replacement we need at least 5 new faces in ! I was on the main site one day last week scrolling through the squad pics on the right and I thought to myself ” That is not a very strong squad at all ! “

Ignoring your rather appalling spelling, as we don’t really have any experienced left-sided defensive cover what’s wrong with bringing this bloke in?I don’t think this is one of the two missing bodies that Roberto referred to recently.
Wigan Athletic are reportedly closing in on Barcelona defender Jessua.
It is understood that Latics boss Roberto Martinez is finalising the signing of the Barca youngster, who the grandson of Johan Cruyff.
The defender, who plays on the left, is the son of former Barcelona youth goalkeeper Jesus Angoy, who is married to Dutch legend Cruyff’s daughter.
And it seems Martinez has beaten competition from clubs across Europe to land the 17-year-old.

Sorry about the spelling Griff, i didn’t realise it was a literacy site!
We often hear the cry of ‘Lazy Journalism’ on here, but this one takes the biscuit. Two sentences and one of those was about Jordi Cruyff. They couldn’t even get a picture of the lad!
