If you was to write a book about your time as a fan of the greatest club on planet earth what would be the title,? Mine would have to be FROM BURSCOUGH TO BRUGGE. My first ever game v Burscough to our European campaign after the cup win. God I feckin love WAFC.

That would have been a great title.
Was a very long first 70 minutes from memory.
Have a vague memory of the sky turning black as the third goal went in from Port Vale replaced by bright sunshine as Latics staged their glorious comeback.
Latics have staged many great comebacks over the years but not one as good as that one.
Had a chat with big Noel Ward about this game a few years back.
My first ever game watching Latics.
