What a journey!This is going to be a bit controversial but from recent times one of the most gifted players of the ilk of Powell that I can think of is Per Frandsen.
His Latics career was curtailed not long after it started, but from what I saw he looked class.Frandsen was superb. He absolutely dominated West Ham at Upton Park in the win down there and really looked the business.
