I was bored this afternoon and reading some Swansea stuff. Some of their fans were moaning that the atmosphere is terrible there and only 12,000 home fans (yes i know) turned up yesterday even though they are flying high in the Championship.
However, let them enjoy their cup final.

All you are doing is giving them the impression that we have the vaguest interest in them. They are a lower division club that we are playing in the Carling Cup. It could have been Brentford. It could have been Northampton. It happens to be the least interesting of the bunch. Even the Welsh consider people from Swansea are inbreds.
I really don’t care if they bring 4 or 40,000.
So they want to abuse our manager? I quite enjoy abusing Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp. It’s what fans do.
And to be honest I don’t even know who THEIR manager is (I know I could Google it – but you get the point).
Let them wallow. Just think of them as Warriors fans with a Welsh accent.

So if its 4,500 sold does that mean we have 2,250 freebies as well? If thats the case its going to be a decent turn out.
as of 5pm tonight the crowd for tommorrow is about 11,000 with 4,800 from swansea very very well done to them for that they can not pay on the night that is their full allocation but latics fans can pay on the night.
Think most people would have their tickets by now because of the bogof offer, but still a decent effort. Bring it on!
