Old Wolf – are you suggesting that Martinez should instruct his team to go out and play badly in hope of a win?
Playing badly isn’t an alternative to losing. The best way to win points is to go out and play as well as you can, which is what Wigan try to do.
Yes, that’s exactly what I mean
At this stage of the season, results are all that matter and not how you get them. The Martinez way has been ineffective for most of the season, just as it was today, but I’ll take any style of play that gets the results in this crucial time of the season, whether it be Allardyce’s hoofball or Martinez’ tippy-tappy.
FA CUP has been a smokescreen(albeit a great one)which has hidden our deficiencies .Way to many “should have and would haves ” all season long .I thought not getting a striker in the Jan window was a huge boo boo being that he knew from summer Kone could be away for up to 6 wks. Yet again another week of slow pass, pass, pass with not a jot at the end of it.I like every Wigan fan pray we stay up but for the life of me i can’t see it as villa look now like they have goals in them and Monday at Man utd wont be the duck shoot some people are predicting .
… people already using today’s result as justification for not going to Wembley.
Tight-arsed twats! You won’t be missed.
Nothing to do with being as you say “a tight-arsed twat” Maybe they aren’t gluttons for punishment. Bottled it today, clueless up front AGAIN. Relegation is a certainty.
So you’ll decide not to go to the club’s first (and probably) last FA Cup final based on one poor result (note, not poor performance)?
I’ll say it again, tight-arsed wankers, and again, you’ll not be missed, whatever reason yo to try to dream up for not spending the money.
Did i say i won’t be going to the final?? THEY THEY THEY, read it again you fool. Not ME ME ME. Good god man. I’m still going, the hotel is booked toooooooo.
Even if we get hammered on Saturday, battered the following Saturday and relegated against Swansea, ill still be at wembley. Can’t see us losing all those 3 though

My lad has been sorting his gear out for 2 days for this, hes even gone to go outdoors today to buy an airbed to sleep on, trouble with his enthusiasm is my mrs says I have to sit in the car and keep an eye on him. hope some others are there so I can go home to my bed.

remy hasnt helped qpr and for the fa cup final for most latics fans this is a dream come true just like the prem but as for many clubs bigger than us they get relegated but unlike us if we do go down our club won’t be millions of pounds in debt

But you were defending the tight-arses position
Tight, Cant, Wont, Not possible. Its all relative Griff.
You been on the pop?
Some people can’t go for various reasons.
I do agree though, Using today’s result as an excuse is piss poor. We should have beaten West Ham, They are shit, But if they are as shit as i think they are why did they beat us with relative ease?
